Are you navigating stress, trauma, chronic illness, or relationship challenges?

Are you a sensitive soul or neurodivergent human feeling overwhelmed trying to navigate this often harsh neurotypically dominated world?

Or are you a helping professional seeking to learn more about supporting people navigating these issues?

Welcome and I’m glad you are here!

I’m Adrienne Clements, MA, LMFT-S and I’m an integrative trauma and relationship therapist, resilience educator, speaker, and consultant who is passionate about exploring the intersections of stress, trauma, chronic illness, neurodiversity, and relationships.

Why? Well, because I actually find myself smack dab in the middle of those intersections myself. That’s why I am so passionate about helping adults and couples to navigate the truly tough stuff of being human – because I have been there…heck, I am there!

Learning about the nervous system has been one of the most powerful tools I have found for cultivating a healthy mind, body, and relationships. And I want to share that knowledge with you! The nervous system is an essential part of navigating stress, trauma, chronic illness/pain, neurodivergence and relationships.  The more we know about how our nervous system works, the better we can be about supporting ourselves and our relationships to navigate this world with more resilience.

While I formally have a Masters in Counseling, I like to joke that life granted me an honorary doctorate in resilience. You see, I have been humbled by life quite a bit, and have had to navigate many challenges which deepened my sense of empathy and compassion. For in my life I have been through major stress, illness, trauma, and loss myself. I am also an allistic (non-autistic) neurodivergent, meaning my brain and nervous system processes things differently than neurotypical brains do which is not easy in a neurotypically dominated culture. So I understand how the complexity of stress, neurodivergence, and circumstance can influence our relationship with ourselves and others.

And in a way, my life experiences have given me a gift, for I can deeply connect and relate to others and their challenges. So, if you’re dealing with some tough stuff of being human – know I see you and I’m glad you’re here.
